Appearance||
Standing tall at 68.5 cm at her shoulder, Fakhir has a bit of a bulky figure. It’s not that she fat and overweight of a normal dog, it’s that she is well build, with a strong body and a thick coat that will help her last through the harsh weather. Her pelt is a copper color that is kept bright and hardly ever seems to be dirty, don’t get her wrong, playing in the mud is a great pass time, but being clean is something she adores! Her face and belly, are a creamy white. Not pure white, but not completely cream either. This color comes up her face and around her deep hazel eyes.
A red bandana is tied around her neck for luck and she wears it all the time. Belonging to her mother on the last and longest race of her life, Fakhir never leaves home with out it. It’s a symbol of her mother, yet she has a very strong belief that it is good luck for her as well, as it carried her mother across the finish line, only minutes before she died.

Personality||
Fakhir is a very strong dog. She doesn’t like to just get by when she completes something. She likes it to be big, especially when it comes to winning. She wants to be able to win with a pride of having done nothing wrong, and won with her whole heart.
She’s very friendly too. She loves to be able to get along with those around her, even if they were the next day to be going against each other. It’s better to be friends with your opponents then enemies, because then you have less of a chance that they will cheat and try to knock you out, unless they are truly bad and will do anything to win, even if it is cheating.
Fakhir has tons of energy and loves to play. When she’s not strapped up in a harness, playing is her half time. She loves her girl Ashlynn and will never leave her side. She’s been the best human Fakhir has ever had.
Gentle. Fakhir’s very gentle. She doesn’t like to fight, unless it’s competitive. Like fighting the other races, not really the contact fighting, but keeping it purely competitive. When two dogs fight, it bothers her. There is no need to fight, especially over things that are stupid, like the races. Many times before she has seen dogs tear each other a part because one dog lost to another. It’s all just senseless violence.
History||
Darla, who was Fakhir's mother, was a racer all her life. She loved being the lead dog, as the musher trailed behind them, cheering them on and getting them to go faster and further. The adrenaline rushing through her body, and the thrill of the victory when she and her team crossed the finish line.
Fakhir adored watching her mother race. Seeing her team run through the bright red ribbons so many times, no matter how many times it was seen, it was always a beautiful sight. In her mind they had been the hardest working team. Training for long hours, everyday and working their hearts out when they were racing.
Fakhir adopted this love from her mother and at the age of 2, but didn’t start racing until she was 3 when she joined her mother, being the lead beside her only twice, but being a middle dog mostly. It was a thrilling thing to be running and working so hard to complete something that she cared so much for.
Just a year before Fakhir turned four, her mother had the last race of her life. Never before had she made it as far as being able to run in the Iditarod Race. She was as happy as ever.
Though the race was hard, the team made it through. Her mother pulled the team through the finish at third place, and as the team rested, her mother died peacefully in her sleep. Everyone was shocked at this, and Fakhir was saddened, but she knew her mother got what she had always wanted. To place in the tops of the Iditarod race.
