Johnny wandered into Stacey's room, gazing at her bed. Any stupid dog would help himself apon the bed, but he wasn't stupid. He knew who's spot that was and who it'd be always reserved for. Suka was ...in the normal eyes of a dog, a jerk, a typical bi-och. He saw her differently. She was tough. She was deep. Not everyone showed themselves to others. He didn't, 'sept Ponyboy. He, alone, with round black eyes, sat up on Stacey's side of the bed, checking to see if he could see out the window. He was starting to think about heading to town and check out the bar. Those boozed up people are amusing. He figured he could grease his hair back and jump a few Socs, yet Johnny wasn't always one to jump. He sniffed the room again. Alone, but there was nothing wrong with that honestly. He liked being alone, where he felt safe like the lot with the stars above. Bein' with the gang was even safer...sometimes.

Stacey walked into her room humming heading straight for her dresser without noticing Johnny. She picked up her comb and looked into the mirror getting ready to pull the comb through her brown hair when she jumped slighty, dropping the brush. Holding her hand against her chest she calmed down laughing as she headed for her bed. She sat down next to him making the bed bounce slightly as she did. She scratched the top of his head and spoke softly. "You scared me half to death Johnny, you old hound." She said with a laughing tone and a soft smile on her face. She stood back up a moment later as a figure appeared at the door with a happy grin. It turned to a snarl when Suka saw Johnny up on the bed. Stacey turned and spoke firmly. "Suka hush." She said and Suka gave a final glare to Johnny before nudging her head under Stacey's hand urging her to scratch.

Johnny was scared himself as she walk in the room humming. His wide black eyes only grew wider. She laughed. His eyes softened. That was his laugh, or as close as he got to it. They showed what his eyes seemed to say- a puppy that's been kicked to much. Which was fine, because chicks digged puppies. He caught the growl towards him and gave a good-natured grin out of respect, however it looked almost nervous.
"Hey Suka."
He smiled and stepped off the bed with a good build carrying him. He knew Suka must be a little hardened up after that second lead dog died...Link or something. He was sure not to say the name often, or at all really. He was told that they boar puppies that were killed...or something. He didn't know the whole story and it was but a rumour picked up on the streets. Johnny noticed her trying to stuff her head under Stacey's hand. Cute.
"I aint jealous, baby."
Johnny tried to reassure her, and he really wasn't mocking in any way either.

Suka just shot him another glare. "Mind yer own business Johnny Boy." Her words were spiteful and unheard by Stacey as it was the way they could talk. Humans knew nothing of it of course, and no matter how hard they may try they'd never figure it out. Stacey scratched her Suka's head and the Lead dog turned out of the room not wanting to be bothered by the mutt any longer. Next to enter was Pepper who leapt onto the bed and curled up on the pillow where Stacey put her head. The small fluff-ball curled up and with a yawn fell asleep right away. Stacey soon left giving johnny a final pat before doing so. Next to arrive was Brittany the lovely lab mutt. She had seen Suka leave with a scowl and smirked interested in who was in there. She chuckled momentarily seeing Johnny on the bed. "Ah of course." She said aloud, really to start a conversation even though this would normally be something someone mutters to themselves.

Johnny watched Suka shoot him a glare and tilted his head at the pet name she gave him. She left, and then Stacey pat him. He wagged his tail limply, fakely.
"Johnnycake."
He corrected with a sheepish grin, thinking of the pet name that the gang gave him. It made him think of Dally Winston and even Sodapop. He watched the beautiful lab chick walk in the room. He was a bit of a shy loner so his dark black eyes gazed slowly after her.
"Eh Brit."
He looked over at the room at Suka and chuckled.
"That babe aint gonna change is she?"

Kaloosh also found his way into Stacey's bedroom, carrying a large chicken leg he had stolen off the counter. Of course he didn't expect any dog to be in this room, except Suka but he had seen Suka leave so thought know one would be here. He growled at the others as he entered giving the message that he definatly wasn't happy. Jumping on the bed...knowing Suka would probably kill at him if she saw him, but she was gone, so there was no trouble, and he was sure she wouldn't even be able to lay a paw on him. He lay the chicken leg on the bed and began chewing on it. Not paying attention to the two other dogs and rather ignoring them. Damn it. There on the bed sheet was a large barbeque stain from the chicken. He simply took the chicken leg and jumped to the other side of the bed, covering the stain with the blanket then laying back down in the same spot again. He simply glared at the others, telling them with his menacing, amber eyes that if anyone gave anything away to Stacey, he wouldn't let it happen again. He kept chewing on the leg.

"You talking 'bout Suka? Nah she ain't never gonna change mate." She had a normal voice but strangely enough if you listened hard you could hear a hidden Australian accent giving her a strange yet normal sort-of voice. Anyway she watched Johnny oh so curiously for a moment then sort-of shrugged her shoulders. "Suka, she's a tough gal. She's not one to give sympathy or compliment. Nope, I'd say the only one who could soften that one was Link, but don't go spreading that around she gets touchy when he's mentioned." She said in a tone that gave a slight warning. "Suka would probably rip a dog to shreds at his mention if she had the chance. Though she's not like that, she'd sure give anyone a beating but never kill, nope not Suka. There is -believe it or not- a kind hearted dog down there."

Johnny gave a few nods here and there. So it was true...well at least that Link exsisted. He wasn't going to dwell on this thought to long. She said that there's a hearted dog somewhere and he nodded again as if to say I know, I know. I do know that.
"That's alright, I aint gonna tell no one."
Johnny grinned trustingly.
"What about you? You have a love life? Tell me about yourself, I'm dreadfull bored-like."
He crawled on Stacey's side of the bed and curled up, looking like a pup that's ready for a bedtime story.

Brittany smirked devilishly (Hehe not a word but who cares. xD). She took a few steps forward and twisted sitting down and showing off her figure to the dog. "Not at the moment, but that's easily changed." She said in a slightly joking manner. Her ears perked as she leapt up sitting at the foot of the bed only to lay sprawled out a bit to continue. "Nothing interesting mate. I don't live here though. Me owner 'tis the vet. He's real great he is. He got me from a man who trained me to sled after my girl let him take me. I used to live in California, d'you know that? Wonderful place that it." Her voice kind-a trailed off as she remembered her past all the fun times and then harsh times learning to race.

The greaser grinned at the fancy labrador-like racer. He decided it be formal to tell his story.
"Well...let's see...my parents didn't care much bout me girl. I think I like it best when the old man's hittin' me."
Johnny sighed.
"Atleast then I know he knows who I am. I walk in that house, and nobody says anything. I walk out, and nobody says anything. I stay away all night, and nobody notices. At least you got Stacey. I aint got nobody."

Brittany shook her head in disagreement. "That ain't true, you got Stacey now too." She said nodding, "Yup Stacey's yours now too. She ain't gonna hit yas. She won't ignore you either. She's real nice she is, my boy too. He's a real charmer he is." She said still noding her head slightly. Her tail wagged happily. She did like it here, she did like Stacey. Jon came here and stayed in the guest room often too. It was easier for them. In fact Jon had talked to Stacey about moving in as a room-mate since they were good friends and it would make more sense with Brittany here.

The tamaskan dog growled as the labrador and the other dog jumped onto the bed. He didn't like people to be in his 'space.'
"Well...let's see...my parents didn't care much bout me girl. I think I like it best when the old man's hittin' me." Absolutly repulsive. They thought they had it bad before now...they got that much wrong. He rather liked it better as a Stray.
Kaloosh mocked the dogs while chewing on the chicken meat so that no one could hear nor see his mouth moving.
Jumping off the bed he lay down on the carpet in the opposite side of the room. Getting a barbeque stain on that to, but not really caring. It might not wash out, but that was Stacey's problem for not making her bedroom dog proof. Or her kitchen that matter, the girl should have known that the dogs here are large and can steal anything off that counter. Oh well. Her problem not his.

Johnny didn't want to reply to that...he had already had this conversation with Ponyboy. Her accent was to die for but the tamaskan dog he felt uncomfortable around. He seemed rude, which was fine. Johnny was a greaser, and he could handle anything now, he could handle anything...
"Eh Soc stop stealin' from my girl. That aint right."
That was alot from Johnny. That was like a speech for him. But even Stacey wasn't his folk, she was his. He didn't know how but she was his now too. His large black eyes narrowed slightely, black hair moving as he stood up on the bed with a glare.

Kaloosh stood up...leaving the leg he was eating on the floor and glaring at Johnny. His amber eyes focused upon the mutt as he spoke and simply smirked. His teeth were bared, but not in a threatning way. More as in a way that Kaloosh wasn't afraid to teach this dog a lesson or two, but stayed put, knowing that nothing good would come out of a fight when he just got here...
"Don't push me boy. You of all dogs should know nothing goods going to come out of it."
The stray dog of Kaloosh was coming out. That happened quite a lot. Sure he was lucky that Stacey took him in while he was at the shelter, but that didn't mean he liked her. He just wanted to live and not be put down to sleep was all. His smirk faded before his words, grey wolf structure standing tall as he stepped foward.

Johnny thought about what the mutt just said. Yeah, Johnny was hurt bad once but it didn't happen again and it wouldn't. The both of them had been strays-what they had in common-but Johnny was more considerate. He bared his teeth back just to show he was just as capable for a fight. A small, but well built red dog, barely a dog more a puppy trotted in. He had inoscent enough of a grin and twinkle in his eyes but he was nothing of the sort. He was Johnny's type.
"Eh Johnnycake."
Ponyboy wagged his tail.
"Let's go get a coke."
He barked and then sat down by Brittany to figure out what was going on. His hair almost looked bleached, like it had been a darker color before...but not anymore.
"Eh Pony."
Johnny greeted but looked back at the stray.
"Nothin good comes from stealin less you wanna get cut."
His eyes softened up a bit to prove that no fight should take place. It wasn't worth his time.
