"Well I have places to be and things to do."
Kaloosh looked around the room. Of course he had better things to do, then stand around here and talk to these, hmmm, what was the right word, house pets. He thought them as simply that, espacially Brittany and Balto and Johnny considering they didn't seem to get out and live a little all that much. Whatever suits them. But to him the life of a sled dog was only good because of competition. He could beat every dog here and knew that. He stood and left the room to explore the rest of the house.

Brittany sighed and barked a failed bye after Johnny as he left the room. She didn't know anything about what a Greaser or Soc was but I can tell you one thing she ain't no Soc. Suka is a Soc if you'd ever seen one no doubt but Brittany, never. Brittany's ears perked though steps on the stairs. "Let's ski-dadle ya'll I hear footsteps!" She barked rushing waking Pepper on the couch who instantly took the advice seeing the carpet. Brittany moving quickly out of the room going around the corner and down the other stairs into the kitchen so as not to run into Stacey who was still making her way up the stairs. Suka had just entered the bedroom though, she hadn't seen the carpet and snarled to the two remaining dogs, "Out this is my turf." She glared leaping onto the bed right ontop of the dried stain.
ooc.. Hehe You guys better get moving, I plan on having Suka blamed. xD

Well, not everyone has read the book or even watched the movie so ya'll need a better understanding of my charactors, really. ^^ (Book better than movie, mwa don't like the actor they picked for Johnny, just watched movie for first time today, but Dally is dead sexy.)
SOCS:
The Socs, (pronounced "Sosh", sounds like soash, like social), are spoiled kids from well-to-do families. They have no reservations about "jumping" Greasers without provocation. When Bob says that Greasers are "white trash with long, greasy hair," Ponyboy spits back that Socs are "white trash with Mustangs and madras."
GREASERS:
While the Socs live carefree lives of privilege, the Greasers come from hard-knock backgrounds. They like to listen to the music of Elvis Presley, and their attire usually consists of tight fitting t-shirts, leather jackets, and jeans. Many Greasers are engaged in criminal activities, which causes many people to incorrectly assume that all Greasers are juvenile delinquents.
The Greasers only have two rules, "Stick together" and "Don't get caught."
Ponyboy Michael Curtis, 14: The youngest of the Curtis brothers and main protagonist of the novel, he is a daydreamer, painter, and a bit of a bookworm. A heavy smoker, Ponyboy is also a star on his school's track team and is best friends with Johnny Cade. Ponyboy is a deep analyzer, but sometimes overlooks the obvious. He is particularly attached to his hair and was upset when Johnny told him that he had to cut it when they were on the run. Ponyboy hates fighting, and the stereotypes put on people, such as "Greasers" and "Socs." He often wonders what life would be like were there are no Greasers or Socs; no labels, just people. He has a very close relationship with his second-oldest brother, Sodapop, who he feels is the only other person, besides Johnny, that he can confide in. His parents recently died in a car crash.
Johnny Cade, 16: "If you can picture a little dark puppy that has been kicked too many times and is lost in a crowd of strangers, you'll have Johnny," says Ponyboy. Johnny is a small and timid boy. His shy and nervous nature stems from years of abuse from his parents, and a recent jumping from a Soc, who is later revealed to be Bob Shelton. Bob wore many large rings on his hand when he jumped Johnny, which scarred Johnny's face. Ever since then, Johnny never walks alone, and carries a six-inch switchblade in his back pocket. He looks up to Dallas Winston and is prone to instability and emotional oversensitivity. Although he never finished school, Johnny is very good at analyzing things that many other people do not understand. Johnny is the "gang's pet, everyone's kid brother," and relies on the Greasers for the love and affection he does not get at home.
SLANG:
The slang in the book reflects both the times of the setting and its cast; much of it is 50s slang, while the remainder dates from mid-60s, when the book was created. The following is a partial list.
booze - Any form of alcohol; particularly beer. Likewise, boozed means drunk breeze – An attractive girl/boy cooler – Jail cancer stick – Cigarette hacked off – To be angry heater – A hand-gun fly – An attractive girl fuzz – Police/law enforcement jumped – To be attacked; the Greasers use this to describe attacks by the Socs lift – To steal, shoplift, or pick-pocket lighting up – Smoking lone it – Doing something alone rank – Something uncool and not fun rolled – To rob rumble – Gang fight scrap – To fight swichblade- hand knife used to defend or show off tuff – Something cool weed – drug (In this novel it refers to cigarettes) woffin - to be kidding

Balto perked his acoustics at perceiving Brittany’s words, instantaneously coming after. He briefly gasped at the countenance of Suka, looking over to her uncomfortably, as he rapidly made his way out. It was easy to gain speed with canine’s facile pillars. He looked up to Stacey as he trotted past her, paying no further acuity to it. He didn’t really mind getting out there – the atmosphere wasn’t great anyway.

Suka snorted with a satisfied huff. She wagged her tail happily and sat up as Stacey entered the room. Stacey gasped. "Suka!" She said firmly heading over and grabbing the dog by her collar. "You know better than this, it's off to your kennel." She said dragging the whimpering Suka behind her who still didn't know what had happened. Suka glanced back to see the stains and snarled as they passed Brittany. This caused an angry Stacey to yank on her collar as she was lead and put into her kennel. Stacey shook her head and went back inside. Brittany herself smirked and made her way outside to find Jon coming through the gate. Her tail going she barked a happy greeting as Jon went inside to report to Stacey he was taking Britt back to the office for the day. They headed over soon after...

Balto’s acoustics flattened against his rather strapped skull, watching Suka getting dragged away. Plume was hidden between pillars as he saw Brittany smirking, but decided not to care too much – since he had nothing to do with it. Had he…? Canine slightly shook his head as he rapidly made his way outside.
