The large dog merely looked at the other dog as it trotted in, his grayish fur seeming quite dull compared to the dogs around him, espacially now that this red head stepped into the picture. He looked back to the dog that was standing on the bed. Kaloosh had an answer for everything it seemed.
"It isn't stealing considering the dog food this lady gives us tastes like crap."
Kaloosh was used to the scraps he found on the streets and rather preferred it.
"Consider it more of a compromise."
His eyes were still hard as stone but he understood the fact that a fight wouldn't be going on today. Unless one of them really pushed it.

Brittany gave a soft snarl and snapped towards Kaloosh. "Don't you dare talk about her like that, be grateful she even gives you food you stupid good for nothing mutt." She barked sharply turning her nose at Kaloosh and looking to the pup next to her. She gave him a nice smile with her tongue slightly out. "'Ello mate." She said in a cheery tone watching him with dark chocolate eyes that were sparkling and bright.

Ponyboy looked at the tamaskan dog with inspiration, a gleefull grin and glisten in his eyes just showing it. He gave a good natured playfull laugh.
"Jus' like Dally eh Johnny?"
Johnny shot him a surprized look. He hadn't thought of it that way. None of these dogs here were quite like them, but Kaloosh was pretty close. He sat back with a shy sigh and shrugged. These dogs were all here to stay.
"Eh Brit, this is Pony, Pony Brit, Kaloosh Pony, Pony Kaloosh."
Johnny got his tongue in a twist and gazed out of the bedroom door. Where was Stacey? He started to wonder if she had a date with ol' what's his name... It seemed a little quiet for a moment.
"Golly, this room is gettin' crowded."
Ponyboy quivered and looked at all of their faces, then was suddenly quiet.

Kaloosh whipped his head to the female. He was getting sick of these dogs stupid remarks. And even worse, they were barely thought out. He also didn't know who Ponyboy and Johnny were talking about. This Dalley or whatever.
"I would watch your tounge little lady, or I might just have to rip it clear out of you."
Kaloosh stood taller than Brit. And what did she like so much about this Stacey? He thought she was pathetic as were all the other humans in this stupid town...but that was what he expected from all of them.
"Now, would anybody else like to say anything?"
Kaloosh could feel the somewhat quiet tension in the room, it seemed a little too quiet now actually.

Johnny said nothing, dark hurt eyes wide with the same they'd usually seem to be. The fear, the way things just grew him up. He looked over at Brittany and mumbled.
"Leave em' alone Kaloosh. They aint fighters, and Dally don't want Pony gettin hardened up like the rest of the gang Soc."
Nobody messes with Dally. The black dog knew the tamaskan didn't know who he was talking about, but he'd get the idea.
"Nothins' gonna happen. Lookit. This is a race notta' fight."
Johnny spoke but slightly quite. Again, he wasn't much of a talker. He was a little bit older than Pony and yet shyer. You'd have to know who he was, what happened, and what is going on in his head to understand why. Ponyboy stood up with a growl.
"Aint nobody gonna talk to her like that."
He snarled, red fur on the end.
"Pony!"
Johnny warned.

"And I suppose little Johnny is going to stand up for his girlfriend. How sweet, but from the looks of Pony here it seems like you got competition."
This Dally seemed interesting. It seemed to be a dog the strays feared among all, even more than himself.
"And incase you forget your not even half the size of me boy. So do you really want to do that? Now just sit your little butt down and keep it there."
Kaloosh turned his head and aimed his words at the little red haired pup. Hmmm, he imagined this dog to be much bigger from the talk Kaloosh has heard of him.
"But if you really want a fight little boy I'll give you one!"
Kaloosh stood over the red haired one looking down on him.

Eccentric grand pads discovered their way to mutt’s team members, cloudy hued fleece practically carving Balto into the shadows, nonetheless they should be skilled to hear him approach. Classic wolfish-colored oculars regarded every single canine warily, listeners pinning against lithe skull, having this suspicious sense something wasn’t right here. “Did I miss something?” Halfbreed questioned guardedly, attempting to lighten up the sullen atmosphere that appeared to encircle them. Plume leisurely lowered as he deemed them, unsure of what to say or do – which was precisely the motive why he merely stood there, motionless.

Johnny glared. It was surprizing anyone would treat him like that...I mean... It was Johnny. Greased black haired, large frightened black eyed Johnny. He glared.
"Leave 'im alone Kal."
He growled. He stepped by Ponyboy and gazed out of the corner of his eyes to see the two cokes Pony brought in. He grabbed one and smashed the end off, coke pooring out into the carpet, staining it. He handed Pony the glassed up bottle in his jaws and he took it, with a glare towards Kaloosh. Johnny just lifted his lips, pearly whites in warning. Pony dropped the bottle and made a funny noise.
"Jus' leave 'er alone, Soc."
Ponyboy sat back, giving a look that said it all. The only good reason to fight was to protect...defence.
"I wish Soda Pop were here."
Pony groaned.
"Well 'e aint."
Johnny pointed out simply, irritated.
"Or Darry."
Pony added.
"Or Dally."
Johnny added in.
"Even Two Bit."
"And Cherry."
"And Sandy."
"And Steve."
They took turns, giving a little laugh here and there with a big grin.
"I better be goin'."
Pony frowned.
"Yeah....okay."
Johnny sighed, ears floppin' limp.

Kaloosh raised an eyebrow. It was just then he remembered the chicken leg he had left on the carpet...oh well...Kaloosh would get to that later. For now, the dog's grayish fur stood up on his neck as Kaloosh saw yet another dog enter the room. He noticed that this one also had a wolf like appearence.
"And just so you know little Johnny boy, you don't frighten me."
He snarled the words. He simply glared as Ponyboy and Johnny just started shooting of names like they were birds. He rolled his eyes lightly and went back to his chicken leg, grabbing it, which was soggy because the coke spilled directly on top of it. He whipped his head around and let go, causing the leg to go flying in Johnny's direction. Kaloosh figured, that if he was the one that poured the stuff on it he should eat it.

“Hey!” Balto yelped whereas he stepped ahead, rendering the fact to get disregarded any longer impossible. Acoustics flattened against dial, for he scarcely even knew these dogs. “Knock it off. If Stacey saw you two like this…” It wasn’t required to sustain the sentence; they likely could fill in the rest. If first impression was always the best, these canines their impression was pretty ruined.

Johnny caught the leg in mid air and set it down. Ponyboy turned his head over his shoulders with a soft growl and a final glare. Johnny kicked the leg to Pony, and Pony picked it up. Just because this dog wasted didn't mean everyone else had to. Johnny looked back at the rude dog.
"I aint afraid a' you either."
He glared and gazed at the new dog, listening to his words.
"You're tellin' me."

Brittany barked a soft good bye to Pony and looked back to Balto. "How ya Balto?" Her accent made it sound like she had said How're and she watched the half breed a moment before looking down to the stain on the carpet. "You boys are gunna get yer butts taken out to dry I 'magine." She muttered trying to lick the coke and sauce up off the carpet. She had some luck but not much. She snarled slightly to the boys. "Why the hell'd ya do sumthin' like that?" She asked slightly angry was her tone as her eyes watched them closely.

Kaloosh simply smirked. Kaloosh didn't have to take anything from any of this dogs espacially not that little 'Ponyboy' runt. And once again his gaze shifted to look at the one that had entered in Pony's place.
"It's not like humans would understand about us."
He looked at the new dog, the one Brittany had called by the name Balto.
"Only a handful of them in the world have done anything to suit the good of us."

Balto would perk sensitive auditories towards Brittany, briefly smiling in a greeting. “Hey,” he replied leisurely. Loosely he turned streamlined cerebrum toward Kaloosh’s direction anew, shaking his head in disapproval. He didn’t felt like having a fight with this guy, plus, he had to admit he agreed with him somewhere.

Johnny watched Brittany lick the coke off the carpet and ask him why he did that. His ears were pinned slightly back and he watched her greet Balto and Balto greet back.
"Why? Self defense."
He shrugged.
"It's a quick reaction."
Johnny looked around and sighed. Y'know, pull the switch blade, shoot the heater, smash the bottle. He knew now that he was dealing with a group of Socs, and Brittany aswell as Balto and the rest of those cold bloodeds would always be more for Kaloosh than for the hoodlums. Fine. Greasers will always be greasers and Socs will always be Socs. He looked around with large black eyes and then left the room. He needed a good break from these pet-like dogs.
